I hit the line of traffic backed up on Northern Ave around 7:40.
Might be a bit much to hope for but I'm excited about the possibilities. 40+ minute levels and not 'skipping' levels. I'm also hoping for some good, deep stack tournaments with longer structures. I'm hoping for the standard games we have at Talking Stick:ģ-6, 4-8 and 8-16 limit (20-40 would be great but might be ambitious at first) Driving back and forth from Buckeye to Scottsdale is brutal, especially after a really long session. Hopefully we get some good games on the west side now. I'm excited to see how this poker room comes along. There have been a bunch of smaller, back-room poker rooms at other businesses but most of those have closed over the last year or two. Until now the only 'good' games have been in Scottsdale at Talking Stick. Poker is popular in Phoenix and the West Valley is no exception. According to their own casino FAQ, there will be a 25 table poker room. I think they're trying to get it open within 18 months. This new venue officially broke ground on August 28th.
